Dr Caroline Blackley has extensive experience in working in schools, teaching and leading to implement practices that result in more productive learning environments.

Her research is situated in the field of teacher decision-making, and the development of proactive approaches to classroom behaviour management that improve school learning cultures.

Caroline has presented her research and work as an educational leader at national and international conferences.

She is the founder of Four Dimensions and Director of Blackley Group Pty Ltd, and has designed and delivered programs based on her research nationally and internationally.

She partners with schools that are passionate about developing positive school based cultural change to support student learning and teacher wellbeing.

  • Kay Ennis

    4D School Consultant

    Kay has successfully and enthusiastically taught all year levels from Prep to Year 12 in urban, regional, rural, and remote areas of Queensland.

    Kays passion has been to maximise all students learning through intentional teaching practices in healthy classrooms. She has spent her career being keenly focused on how a teacher can best engage students and then support their journey to reach their potential.

    Her desire is to support teachers through positive change. Kay is delighted with the opportunity to work with Dr Caroline Blackley and her team to deliver high quality evidence based professional development focussed on growing teachers’ capacity to enhance student engagement and learning.

    Mikey is an ambitious, enthusiastic educator who has taught on 4 continents, most recently in regional North Queensland. With a Masters in school management and brief experience in leadership roles, Mikey understands the complexities and pressures of school life and being a teacher.

    He is passionate about focusing on the wellbeing of people and as a devoted student of 4D, the mantra of ‘learn it, live it, teach it’ rings true for what he brings to the team. He is dedicated to supporting others in utilising the power of 4D to help promote the wellbeing and success of teachers and, most importantly, students.

    Data Consultant

    With 38 years of experience in Queensland State Education, encompassing primary and secondary schooling environments, Using his current experience, Tony aims to assist schools in building upon their implementation of the Four Dimensions Framework. Tony challenges leadership teams in schools with the question, “How do we lead our school so that we know what we are doing is making the difference we want for our students?”

    He has successfully supported schools to establish a clear line of sight using the school 4D data profile to focus on areas for further development across the school. Then leveraging the capability of the whole school leadership team Tony supports school communities to create the change they desire.

    4D School Consultant and Data Consultant

    Combining a 15-year career in Secondary Education and accredited personality profiling for AusIDentities, Patti Williams brings a working knowledge of human behaviour to a range of learning contexts. She understands the importance of teamwork and collaboration within schools and helps educators develop their communication skills with a focus on enhancing student engagement and teacher wellbeing.

    She loves working with new and early career Teachers, providing them with the strategies, mindset and mentoring needed to not just 'make it through' their beginning years but to 'make an impact' during their time with students, providing actionable steps for quality teaching and student outcomes.

    As a proud Bundjulung woman, Patti is an advocate for embedding Indigenous perspectives in the classroom, fostering a sense of belonging and understanding for all learners.

  • Dr Linda Llewellyn

    4D School Consultant

    Linda has 25 years’ experience in teaching. She has worked as a Behaviour Support Teacher and as a Behaviour Support Education Officer. Linda is currently writing a book and training teachers from her research from her PhD examining what non-Indigenous teachers can do to support the behaviour of their Indigenous students. She currently lives and works on Bindal and Wulgurukaba lands, supporting student behaviour in an Indigenous school, tutoring at James Cook Uni and providing whole school and FBA support for local Catholic Schools.
