*Whole School Scan*

Are you struggling to quantify the essence of your school environment into data that can be used to review and inform strategic decision-making?
In the Whole School Scan we do a one-to-one 30-minute classroom observation with each teacher. These observations are there to identify the impact of the teaching on the learning environment. We then share the data from each classroom observation with the individual teacher in a 20-minute reflection session, to develop awareness and build a shared language around a culture of learning.
From there, all results are imported into the live online database. No individual teacher can be identified in these reports. A set of school based data reports are produced, which provide the school with a clear picture of the impact of teaching and learning across the whole school and the classroom outcomes.
The data reports specify areas of strength, graphs to monitor growth, and access to the 4D data coach to support the development of targeted interventions and response.
We undertake approximately 6 observations and reflection sessions a day.
**Outcomes**
Following the scan, school leaders will have:
clear and precise evidence on what is occurring in their classrooms; and
access to data, which will inform where you’ve been and where you can go.
From here, schools can engage Caroline to undertake a Whole School Plan with them using the data coach cycles. See below for details.

*Data Meetings*

Now that you have the data, on how your school is performing, let us help you to interrogate and understand that data so that you can create a plan to move forward to where you want to be.
In the Whole School Plan we connect leadership teams with one of our data specialists. We do this from the last day our Educational Consultants re in your school with a wrap-up face to face meeting with the leadership team. Then there are options for connecting with our Data Consultants for a detailed Data Presentation to use with staff and follow up meetings to set Pulse Checks. These occur online and virtually.
Your Face to Face meeting is a 45-minute to 1.5 hour summary of the week on campus with two recommendations for discussion. We will help you to:
understand your data;
make sense of how this can be used to inform your school’s explicit improvement agenda; and
help you determine a review cycle based on the recommendations discussed in the meeting.
From this meeting, you will have the foundation data sets, two key recommendations and then access to a Data Consultant to provide a detailed follow up session on those discussions. This follow up meeting provides you with a detailed Power Point to share the findings with staff at your school.
Finally you have access to virtual meetings at any time to track, discuss and set targets using our experienced data consultants.

Whole School Scan includes the fee of 1800 to 2400 + GST for our larger schools.
Post scan bookings with a data consultants are billed at $320 + GST a session for 45 minutes.

*4D Coaching*

At any time, if you would like to build the confidence and capability of your own staff observing one another, then 4D coaching is for you!
We come into your school, and work side by side with Level I or Level II observers to improve their skills in observations and reflection sessions.
We do a 30-minute 1: 2 observation, a reflection session where we provide feedback to the observer (who we are observing!), and then a 30-minute feedback session on their data collection and coaching skills.
This process takes about 90-minutes per observer, and we do a maximum of 4 of these sessions a day.

At Kenmore SHS we have a long-held belief that a common, consistent and evidence-based approach to classrooms is vital to ensuring successful learning outcomes for all students.
