Challenge thinking. Shift decisions. Change what happens next.
Provocative, engaging keynotes that challenge the way people think about human behaviour, connection and culture. Drawing on research, real-world experience and powerful storytelling, Caroline reveals how our perceptions shape our decisions, and how those decisions shape the environments we create for others.
Expect honesty, humour, stories that stay with you and practical ideas people can use immediately. These aren't keynotes designed simply to inspire people for an hour. Over 1 000 000 minutes observing how humans interact with one another using her research based Framework, these keynotes are designed to make people notice differently, think differently and do differently.
Perfect for conferences, leadership events, education forums and organisations ready to strengthen connection, belonging and culture.

Human Decision-Making, Connection and Culture
Dr Caroline Blackley is a researcher, educator and keynote speaker who helps organisations understand one thing most leaders overlook: culture is built in the small decisions people make every day, in every interaction.
Caroline is the founder and CEO of Blackley Group and the creator of The Four Dimensions®, a decision-making framework built on four everyday choices: Expect, Reinforce, Redirect and Follow Through. The framework grew out of her PhD at the University of Southern Queensland, which examined how people make decisions in fast-moving, high-interaction environments. Her research, published in the peer-reviewed Journal of Education for Teaching, shows how mental load and emotion shape the choices people make under pressure.
Since then, Caroline and her team have completed more than 30 000 observations of how humans connect, spanning more than 1 000 000 minutes. That work began in some of the most demanding workplaces there are, schools, and the patterns it reveals apply wherever people work together. When leaders change how they interact, their people change too.
Caroline has spoken at the World Congress on Education in Dublin, ATEA in Sydney, the National Education Summit in Brisbane and Melbourne, QELi in Emerald and the DATTA conference. On stage she brings humour, warmth and stories that land, and she makes complex ideas about human behaviour remarkably simple to use.
Her core belief: culture isn't what an organisation says. It's what people experience. Challenging audiences to examine something we rarely stop to question: the thinking behind what we do.

Her keynotes are both challenging and optimistic.
Culture isn't something that simply exists around us.
We create it through the decisions we make, the behaviours we reinforce and the way we make people feel when they are with us.
Caroline's keynotes leave audiences thinking differently about themselves, the people around them and the environments they have the power to create.
Different thinking. Better decisions. Stronger connection.
